We specialise in the areas of human movement, yoga and the performing arts. Yes, the application of the Alexander Technique is broad. It suits a range of interests and needs.

Originally Alexander himself applied his technique to performance in acting and recitation. He went on to realise that his method could help people in any activity and with many different health problems. This is because the Alexander Technique teaches people how to recover their poise and to refine the co-ordination of their mind and body.

Alexander Education provides opportunity for lessons and group classes in the Alexander Technique. You can take classes in the application of the Alexander Technique to Yoga; Alexander Technique for singing and speaking; Alexander Technique to improve posture and movement in relation to a myriad of activities.

Most people take a series of individual sessions to familiarise themselves with the principles and practice of Alexander Technique as it relates to their individual needs.
